DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR STATE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE 30TH DISTRICT

Alton has a history of being an advocate and a voice for positive change.  He was born in Englewood and raised in Riverdale following the death of his father. Upon graduating from college, Alton returned to his childhood community only to realize that not much had changed; he witnessed the same lack of economic opportunity, violent crime and underfunded educational resources that prevailed in the community when he was younger. 

Alton understands that change takes time, but in some communities, change never manifests.  One day, Alton looked outside his window and wondered, why not expect great change? Take a look outside your window.  If you are ready for a different view, there’s only one choice.
